Sarah is a Registered Physiotherapist and LANA* Certified Lymphedema Therapist with specialized training and interests in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema/chronic swelling.
As a LANA Certified Lymphedema Therapist (>135 training hours of study and training in Complete Decongestive Therapy), Sarah can help to safely and effectively assist patients with lymphatic disorders through Complete Decongestive Therapy (manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, individualized exercise prescription and self-care education). Sarah is also registered as an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer and can help people to apply for funding assistance when purchasing compression garments.
Sarah can help patients in any stage of their cancer journey through restorative, supportive, preventative or palliative interventions. Physiotherapy can help to improve quality of life and treatment outcomes as well as manage pain and cancer-related fatigue.
She has pursued post-graduate education in Lymphedema Therapy, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, and Acupuncture to provide more holistic care to her patients.
